This the the only drawback to the the printer. This ink cardridge is WAY TO SMALL.

Customer Review: Frustrating experience
Even though the documentation says the printer supports Macintosh, it does not–at least in wireless mode. There is a problem with the software, and Lexmark told me outright that Mac was not supported. Printer worked o.k. for a while, but the cartridge life is very short, and the cartridges themselves are expensive. Finally, while trying to put a new cartridge in this morning, the printer decided to align itself while I had the door open–and it shattered one of the cartridge bays against the side. Printer is now useless. Junk
Customer Review: Only One Catch So Far
So far the only complaint I have is that to turn the power off when you shut down your computer, you have to unplug the printer from the wall. I have never owned a printer that when you push the power button does not turn it off. Don’t know where Lexmark is going with this idea, but it lacks any logical sense to me.

What a great way to save money–buying your ink cartridges from a seller on Amazon.com. I own two printers, one fairly old HP690C and an HP Officejet 6210 All-in-One. Buying ink cartridges at Office Depot or Office Max is pricey! And having my cartridges refilled at Walgreen’s costs MORE than cost of cartridges (including postage) from an Amazon seller. My transaction was GREAT!
Customer Review: Good cartridge, can start to smear though
This black cartridge goes with my HP Deskjet 694C. I have gone through numerous cartridges and for the most part it prints crystal clear. Some of the only drawbacks comes when its time to print large photographs with a lot of dark colors, as you might expect it uses an aweful lot of ink, especially when you have it on the highest quality settings, and sometimes it doesn’t cover completely smooth, but really, most people use printers for text only, and with this cartridge it works great. One bad thing about this might be, when you are getting low on ink, it sometimes has a tendance to smear. Usually this is caused by dust or paper fiber which it has picked up, and it can be cleaned.

Customer Review: Just does not work
I love the idea of recycling cartidges and beating out on the money-making schemes of big-corporations…but this one is NOT the answer. This was sadly disappointing, with totally unacceptable quality. The ink was too faded, and not clear, plus there were strange blotches at the edges of the paper (???). I put in a second cartridge, and the blotches went away, but the ink was still way too faded. Finally had to go to Target and put out the $$$ for the real thing.
